

ABOUT US
Our weekend theatre school runs every Saturday and Sunday at The Bull Theatre in High Barnet, with weekly classes in drama, singing and dance for children ages 7-16.
All classes are taught by fully qualified, DBS-registered tutors and industry professionals with over 30 years' experience in performing arts education.
Students train across all three disciplines in their assigned age group, building confidence, communication skills and a love of performance.


CLASS STRUCTURE
ACTING
Transporting students into the deepest realms of their imagination, our drama classes are held in an inspirational, safe, and creative space, in which students can explore characters, develop their performance skills, work as a team, build confidence and immerse themselves in the magic of stage and screen.
Through various practical exercises and scene work, pupils are challenged creatively on their journey to build authentic and truthful characters.
Stage Acting
In Stage Acting students work on vocal projection in our in-house theatre. They look at a range of scenes from plays and Musicals, and work towards our annual End of Year Show where all their skill are put into practise.
Screen Acting
In Screen Acting students work on how to perform for a camera, they look at a mix of tv & film scenes, and commercials as well as learning what it is like performing on a set. They work on audition technique. Pupils get the opportunity to film scenes as solos, duos and in small groups.

SINGING
Our singing classes aim to develop vocal technique, improve performance skills, build confidence and aid students in the development of projection, diction and breathing. Pupils cover a range a musical styles, with a predominant focus on musical theatre and contemporary singing.
Musical Theatre
Pupils develop a well-rounded knowledge of musical theatre repertoire. From classic Broadway theatre (Rogers and Hammerstein, Kern, Rogers and Hart etc), to 70s and 80s musical theatre (Andrew Lloyd Webber, Boublil and Schönberg etc) to contemporary musical theatre (Schwartz, Pasek & Paul, Lin Manuel Miranda etc).
Contemporary Singing
Our contemporary singing classes allow students to discover their inner artist and explore a variety of musical styles. This includes pop/indie/Rock/folk/country/jazz and Soul.


DANCE
Classes provide students with a comprehensive training in all aspects of dance. Students are given technical, creative and core skills in a range of dance genres. They will study various techniques but are also encouraged to explore and develop their individual style, and creative identity. In Dance students gets the opportunity to choreograph their own routines as well as learning routines in various styles such as Musical Theatre, Jazz and Commercial. Dance is a brilliant way for pupils to express themselves and channel their creativity.
